What is it?

VİSANBUL aims to solve problems caused by overpopulation in Istanbul by providing better living conditions and alternatives to the people. In Istanbul with its population exceeding 18 million and yet still receiving domestic immigrants, VİSANBUL, first of all, points out to low-income inhabitants or retirees that it’s possible to live in different cities under better conditions. By means of the various employment and settlement programs organized with the cooperation of the public sector, it provides the necessary material and emotional support for people to start a new life in a city of their choice, and to live in better circumstances. Another aspect of the project is controlling the duration of residence in Istanbul to prevent ongoing immigration to Istanbul by a visa system. VİSANBUL will thus provide a solution not only to Istanbul’s transportation problem but also to all other problems stemming from overpopulation.

Why?

In Istanbul, with its population exceeding 18 million according to the latest figures, we encounter many problems in various domains from transportation to the service sector. Even though 2,250,000 people are unemployed, people still migrate from other cities with the hope of finding a job to Istanbul, known for its high cost of living, and end up having to live with low standards. Istanbul’s population meanwhile continues to increase. If the necessary conditions are provided, people can live good lives in different cities and regions as well.
