Kızlar Sahada Akademi

The team concentrates on the problem rather than the project. Kızlar Sahada Akademi has understood that the tool, i.e. football, is a very strong medium and became aware that there may be more than one solution for the existing problem.  With the activation of imece Assisstance Program, the team started to examine and question the assumptions besides. After the work, the team also started to search the alternative funding options required for the sustainability of the project.

Kızlar Sahada Akademi team was indeed surprised and excited when they have seen their great assumptions of “facts” are replaced by the “fact in the field” one by one; accordingly, the team also understood the difference between the concepts of ‘solely performing a job’ and ‘learning with curiosity’. After Problem Verification, the solution idea for their social initiative became more clear thanks to the steps involved. The team members reached to a consensus on such solution and they started the second step of their field works. One of the basic lessons they have learned was about what kind of a social initiative it could be. The ideas they have served once had concentrated steadily on the project in past however they now assess the facts and events from the glasses of a social entrepreneur and consider the sustainability of a project together with the respective assumptions. The team changed its point of view and concentrated on generating the possible assumptions. The process had started as a 6 days camp only, however now they have decided to build up a Kızlar Sahada platform after their solution ideas undergone changes.
