Problem Verification
Öğrenme Tasarımları formed the skeleton of the project while applying to incubation process. The first work included deep analyses and shaping of the project. The team learned how to work under a plan and connect the pieces to reach for the whole. At the same time, they recognized the nets related to this subject and how could the respective resoures be used.
Solution Verification
The team interviewed experts from various organizations, and after gathering the definitions for “Woman” and “Man” from 180 children and adults living in the cities of İzmir, İstanbul, Giresun, Ankara, Şanlıurfa, and Bingöl, and then developed and applied an evaluation tool named “Domestic Stick People” measuring the perception of domestic social roles. Interviewing the families one on one, Team Öğrenme Tasarımları reviewed the reports, toys, children’s books and animations on the subject, and after analyzing the results, the team developed the priority subjects, various practices, and the game which need to be included in the Social Equity Kit (TEK). The dynamics used in building the game were shaped by the answers of the children for the concepts of “woman” and “man”, as well as the statements of their families and teachers. The team developed the game and TEK by understanding the target audience at the research phase.
