Problem Verification

While modeling the social impact planned to be generated, the team realized that it should know the possible users of the project more closely. Thus, the detailed questions to be asked for the women textile workers and high school age disadvantaged girls are prepared by two separate project groups. Following the first work,  these two groups are united and jointly determined their needs, requests and the features they desire to develop.

Solution Verification

Team reflect identified two beneficiary groups as women textile workers and Syrian teenage girls and the anticipated needs of these two groups. As a result of interviews with Syrian teenage girls, the team noticed that their need for education are more specific than anticipated, and creating an extensive social influence model for them will not be effective. As a result of one on one interviews with women employed in production, reflect discovered that the subject of empowerment of women working in the current industry may have a major sphere of influence. They started working on empowerment of 1 million women textile workers employed in Turkey, and development of their knowledge and competences. The fact that the main beneficiary group is the women in the textile they work together made the influence model clear.
