In our third Incubation Program, we focus on Reduced Inequalities from the Sustainable Development Goals. Income inequality, unequal access to benefits brought about by development, difficulties faced by groups such as refugees and the disabled; we spring to action with social entrepreneurs who will create solutions for these prevalent issues.

The current state of inequality in Turkey and the framework of the third Support Program were determined by the research conducted by S360 for this process. The notable topics in the results of this research were economically and socially strengthening disadvantaged groups, accessible education, employment, and social opportunities for everyone, and improving the conditions of the refugees. For more information on Reduced Inequalities, you can view the resources here.

With our program, 160 applications from persons and teams working with enterprises, associations and initiatives which generate solutions on the accessibility of basic rights and needs have been gathered. 37 of the applications where regarding disabled persons, 25 of them were regarding refugees and 98 of them were regarding disadvantages in general.

Applications, that came from all around 19 different cities of Turkey, were generally based on these titles: technology, coding, game skills, child, elderliness, gender, career opportunities, agriculture, environment, food production and shareable economy. Applications were from these cities: Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Balıkesir, Bolu, Bursa, Çanakkale, Çorum, Denizli, Düzce, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Malatya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa and Şırnak.
