In addition to access to education, the quality of education has been one of the important topics during the challenge research for the second Incubation Process of imece. The results of the research show that gender roles and inequalities stemming from these roles significantly impact the quality of education. Education, in this context, is understood as a process that take place both as formal education within schools, as well as education in more informal environments outside of schools. Roles, attitudes and behavior that are learned in formal and informal environments have an impact on women in different stages of their lives, influencing their access to education, participation to workforce, choice of profession, their places in society, division of domestic labor, self-confidence, courage and motivation, equal pay demands, claiming their rights and protection of their physical and mental integrity.
